I seem to be forgetting something, because my body will not let me rest.
I'm to that point they say is 'over exhausted' when you are so so tired, but can't sleep. I haven't had a decent night's sleep since Sunday. I slept Saturday night from 8:45p.m.-8:00a.m. Now I can't seem to sleep since.
I like to think I have this little clipboard inside with a checklist...
Before I sleep I must check off all the items for the day.
Wake up- Check
Take a shower- Check
Go to work- Check
Meet Jen for Lunch- Check
Drop Ripley off at Groomers- Check
Work some more- Check
Pick Ripley up- Check
Make Dinner- Check
Clean up- Check
Huh, must me done now...can I sleep?...nope...there must be something I forgot to check off...
Oh yeah! Prepare for the end of the world tomorrow....
What to pick out to wear when its 1250° outside?....
I doubt I'll be sleeping too well tonight either.
Haha, it actually is really crazy outside today; Windy, and ominous looking.
Robert Frost poems always make me feel better. They are calming.
Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening
Whose woods these are I think I know.
His house is in the village, though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow.
My little horse must think it queer
To stop without a farmhouse near
Between the woods and frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year.
He gives his harness bells a shake
To ask if there is some mistake.
The only other sound's the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake.
The woods are lovely, dark, and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.
-Robert Frost
